I just have a very bad experience with Amazon on my order of Modernist Bread. I place my order back in 11-Oct-2016. The order was cancelled by Amazon on 6-Oct-2017, immediately after they failed to charge my credit card. I later found that I’ve not updated the expiration date of the card after it was upgraded by my bank. Amazon should have informed their customer of the problem and give them some chance to fix it before cancelling the order immediately. Now I have placed a new order, but have to pay US$90+ for shipping which should be free when I first place the order back in 2016. I do hope that there will be other outlet instead of Amazon for this wonderful book. Customer service of Amazon is non-existence!
We are sorry to hear about this issue you had with ordering Modernist Bread. We understand your frustration and appreciate your patience in dealing with this issue. We are working with Amazon to better address service concerns and will do everything that we can to prevent this from happening again. In the future, feel free to check out our book buying page to find out where else you can purchase our books.
