The Photography of Modernist Cuisine is the first large-format, high-quality art book from Nathan Myhrvold and the Modernist Cuisine team. Encouraged by the feedback on our photographs in our first books, we decided to take some of the best shots from our library of more than 200,000 images and print them as a collection. The photos are even larger and on nicer paper than in our previous books. The Photography of Modernist Cuisine focuses on the art of food as seen from intriguing, new perspectives. Revealed through hundreds of jaw-dropping photographs, it includes some of the most iconic images from Modernist Cuisine and Modernist Cuisine at Home, as well as many new and unpublished photos.
